The friends and family of Ashley Woolley are preparing to "give him the send off he deserves" tomorrow at Chelmsford Cathedral.
Ashley,18, of Chelmsford, died after he was stabbed in Oaklands Park on December 18.
Following his death, his best friend Ian Day, set up an online fundraising page to raise money for his funeral to give Ashley, who he had known since primary school, a worthy send off.
The page has now raised £2,555. The celebration of Ashley's life will be held at the cathedral at 10.30am tomorrow morning and all are welcome.
