Thriftwood College students raise money for Shelter charity
THE Year 13 Event Management students at Thriftwood College planned and organised an Open Mic Night to raise money for the Shelter Charity.
The night was a huge success with students and staff performing a variety of acts including singing, dancing and gymnastics. The event also included refreshments and a raffle, prizes were donated by staff, students and local businesses including The Co-op, Morrisons and Silhoutte Du Barry.
A total of £494.82 was raised for Shelter.
