A TEENAGER has been found stabbed to death in Chelmsford.

Police were called to Oaklands Park, Moulsham Street, just after 3.15pm this afternoon after a man, believed to be in his late teens and from the local area, was stabbed.

He was taken by ambulance to Chelmsford’s Broomfield Hospital where he later died. A murder inquiry has now been launched by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

A cordon has been established at the scene and forensic examinations will be carried out. The museum and the park are closed.

The suspect is described as white, 6ft tall, of medium build, with light brown hair, wearing a dark coloured top. Searches are continuing to trace him.
