ROUND UP: Concord Rangers return to league action against Farnborough tomorrow after their cup exertions in the past fortnight.

Three of the Beach Boys last four games have come in the cup, with disappointment in the FA Cup exit to Mansfield Town softened by the thumping 4-0 victory over Boreham Wood in the FA Trophy last weekend.

Their midweek Essex Senior Cup game against Grays Athletic was postponed and they head into the match with Boro in confident mood, having produced two superb performances against them last term. The Beach Boys scored seven goals without reply in the two games and come into this game a point ahead of their rivals with two games in hand.

Danny Cowley is yet to replace Jordan Chiedozie, after he joined Cambridge United, with Tony Stokes, Lewis Taaffe and Steve Cawley all likely to feature tomorrow.

East Thurrock United want to continue their impressive recent form when they host top-of-the-table Margate tomorrow.

John Coventry’s side beat Canvey Island 2-1 on Tuesday night, with goals from Reece Harris and Simon Peddie doing the damage.

And they have an impressive record at Rookery Hill this season, having lost only one match at home all season.

Their last league defeat was all the way back on Tuesday, September 23 at Witham Town. But that record will come under stern examination against the Gate tomorrow.

They are seven points clear at the top of the division, albeit having played four games more than the team below them and boast an array of attacking talents. Charlie Allen and Ryan Moss have 26 league goals between them already this term, while former Canvey defender Tambeson Eyong will also pose a threat from full-back.

Rocks defenders Paul Goodacre (illness) and Ben Wood (hamstring) are expected to be fit.

Lewis Smith is suspended after his red card against AFC Hornchurch.

Great Wakering Rovers meanwhile host Soham Town Rangers in Ryman North One.

Dan Trenkel has demanded that his side produce a winning performance after last weekend’s 3-0 reverse to Brentwood Town.

Wakering have 12 fewer points than Soham and are haven’t won in their past four games, although they did secure good home draws against Aveley and Needham Market.

They do have Joe Skeels back from suspension and Max Kent is also available. Captain Lewis Sparrow, inset, will have a late fitness test but Stuart Hepburn (suspended) and Billy Radley (hamstring) will miss the game.
