AN INTREPID group of family and friends conquered the Tough Mudder assault course to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The group of seven, from Hadleigh, Benfleet and Chelmsford, completed the 12.5 miles cross country run over 20 extreme obstacles to raise almost £2,000.
The team, nicknamed The Hills Have Eyes, included John Hills, 58, Jodie Hills, 28, Melissa Hills , 25, Annalee Hills, 18, Russ Inglis, 30, Michael Archer, 31 and Stephanie Williams, 29.
Mum and supporter Julia Hills said: “A big thank you to all those who have sponsored the team.
“The total at the moment is £1,836 and still rising!
“The event was great to watch and as a mum I felt extremely proud of my Tough Mudders.”
