PUPILS at Moulsham High School have swapped letters with French pen pals.
The opportunity to write to students at College Moulin Blanc, in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, has enabled Chelmsford youngsters to learn more about the French language and the differences between life in England and life in France.
Initially, students exchanged traditional letters – written in both French and English – but are now emailing each other to speed up exchanges and make them more frequent.
Miles Barnes, a Moulsham High pupil, said: “I have learnt a lot. Writing to our pen pals is really fun as we are learning more about France as well as making new friends.”
