A HOME care firm is expanding in the east...creating 72 new jobs in the Chelmsford area.

Helping Hands, an award winning, family run business and one of the leading providers of at-home care services in England and Wales is opening offices in Chelmsford.

It is looking to train and recruit 72 to help promote independent living and maximise quality of life for those living in Chelmsford, following ever-growing demand for at-home care services.

Helping Hands offers those in need - and suffering from various conditions - visits from as little as 30 minutes a week, right through to ongoing 24 hour "live-in" support.

The new roles will involve providing a homecare service "that embraces companionship and household management, through to full personal care needs".

Tim Lee, Chief Executive of Helping Hands said: "Our Carers already provide a fantastic service, and we want to be able to bring this service to new areas.

"The excellent work of our Carers has meant that our reputation is growing, and we now need more equally committed and passionate Carers throughout the region."
