A MAN charged with the murder of Chelmsford resident Colin Evans appeared in court today.
Jose Correia Agrela, 29, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court this morning, where he spoke to give his name and that he has no fixed address.
Charity volunteer Colin Evans, 39, was found dead in a flat on Broomfield Road on Tuesday morning.
A post mortem examination, carried out at Broomfield Hospital, said the cause of death was incised wounds to the neck.
The court case has been adjourned until Thursday, October 9, where it will be heard at Chelmsford Crown Court.
