THOSE who like a pantomime with a difference will be able to look forward to Snow White on Ice this Christmas when the production comes to the Riverside Ice and Leisure centre.

The festive treat will add sparkle to a family day out, and feature an array of fabulously colourful costumes and catchy songs as Snow White, with the help of the dashing prince, evades her evil stepmother's plot to kill her.

The performance showcases the superb skating skills of a talented local cast as this classic children's fairytale is brought to life in front audiences eyes.

Councillor Ray Ride, in charge of leisure and culture, said: “Riverside’s annual Christmas Ice Show always proves popular amongst people of all ages.

"We are pleased to once again be able, in association with Chelmsford Ice Skating Club, to provide this magical Christmas event and we are confident you will leave the centre with a smile on your face.”

The unique pantomime runs between Wednesday, December 17 and December, Sunday 21. Shows start at 7pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with matinee and evening performances on both the Saturday and Sunday.
