A CHELMSFORD lad who secured funding from a Dragon’s Den investor for his mobile phone repair kit in January has seen sales rocket to more than 13,000 worldwide.

Oliver Murphy, 21, was given £50,000 from investor interior designer Kelly Hoppen for the revolutionary Reviveaphone, which restores electronics after water damage.

The business is now expected to fulfil its sales target of £200,000 this year – only its second in operation.

The uplift in sales is in part down to Reviveaphone’s booming overseas success, with the kit selling well in places such as South Africa.

Oliver said: “I’m staggered by how quickly it’s taken off and to be already selling so many kits at home and abroad is more than I could have hoped for at this stage.”
