THOUSANDS of women descended on Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Sunday for the annual Race for Life.
The 5km and 10km races are organised by Cancer Research UK.
Around 4,500 women of all ages took part in the Chelmsford event and it is thought that around £323,000 was raised.
