MERRY it Was to Laugh There is a poignant reflection on the Great War, using poetry and diaries written during the conflict.

It moves from the poets of the early war, such as Wilfred Owen, to the words of the soldiers such as Woodbine Willy writing trench poetry.

It is at the Cramphorn Theatre, Fairfield Road, tongiht at 8pm.
