THE Hylands House Country and Craft Show returns next month for a weekend of food, drink and entertainment.
Falconry, shire horse displays, axemen, dog and duck herding and sheep racing will be just some of the country pursuits on offer at the show when it visits the house’s grounds on the weekend of July 26 and 27.
There will also be cookery demonstrations from the likes of Italian chef Claudio Bincoletto and craftsmen including stick makers, blacksmiths and willow weavers.
Visitors will also get the opportunity to hold a snake, bearded dragon or tortoise with Amazing Reptiles, and the Foolhardy Circus, often seen at the Glastonbury Festival, will perform and offer workshops.
Music will come courtesy of Essex’s very own Ryan Green, who visitors may recognise from his stint on the BBC talent show The Voice.
Each day runs from 10am to 5pm. More information can be found at www.hylandscountryshow.co.uk
