A LISTED pub in Little Waltham is set to reopen on Friday after eight months of renovation works.
The White Hart, on The Street, has been given a new lease of life including an extension, which has seen it transformed into a modern space and still retain its popular, original features.
The pub will serve food all day and carter for families.
Publicans David and Sheila Hunt have owned pubs around the Chelmsford area for 18-years including The Alma, on Arbour Lane, which they sold in 2005, and currently the Angel and Harp in Great Dunmow.
They will be joined by son and daughter, Joshua and Alessandra.
Alessandra said: βAt a time when pubs are closing at around 16 per week, we are passionate about the trade and developing it to move with the times, and provide people with what they really want from their local.β
