CHELMSFORD Star Co-op Society have announced that the J’s Hospice will be there charity for the next year.
The group chose the charity through their staff ballot, and it will now be supported by the groups 50 stores around the county.
The hospice, now in its 10th year, provides tailored nursing, respite and end of life care for young adults and their family in the comfort of their own home.
Dominique Branning, fund raising manager for the hospice, said: “J's are delighted and very proud to have been selected as Chelmsford Star Co-operative's Charity of the Year for 2014/2015. Not only will the money raised make a huge difference but J’s will also benefit much from increased awareness too.”
