SMOOTHIE Matthew Ford and his band of Swing Legends will be at the Chelmsford Civic Theatre on Sunday, to play classic tunes from the Great American Songbook.
Matthew and the legends will bring their own unique style to classics such as Come Fly With Me, That’s Amore, Portrait of My Love and Mack the Knife.
Following his second TV appearance at the BBC Proms with the John Wilson Orchestra in August last year, Matthewhas toured the UK, broadcast on BBC and RTE radio and performed in glamorous Hollywood.
The Swing Legends are a nine-piece band, catering to lovers of the music of Frank Sinatra, Matt Monro, Michael Buble, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, and of course the Great American Songbook.
