A WOMAN from Chelmsford will be appearing at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, May 27, charged with wounding with intent after a man was stabbed.
Police were contacted at around 5am on the morning of Monday, May 26, with reports of a man in his 30s having been stabbed inside a house in Burnell Gate, Chelmsford.
The man was taken by ambulance to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and later transferred to Addenbrookes in Cambridge where he is received treatment to puncture wounds to his chest which are not life threatening.
Naomi Chanovre, 21, of Burnell Gate will appear at court today.
