A SPECIAL Father’s Day concert with Bahamian bass-baritone Franz Hepburn is planned for the Cramphorn Theatre next month.

Hepburn, who has performed sold-out concerts around the world, will present a programme of his favourite show songs and big band classics, on Sunday, June 15.

He is often compared to the great American singer Paul Robeson and made his operatic debut in the world premiere of Our Boys, the first Bahamian opera in 1987.

His latest programme of songs will include Ol’ Man River, What a Wonderful World, the Music of the Night and Let’s Face the Music and Dance.

The concert will also include music trivia and sing-a-longs.

There is also a chance for prizes to be won.

Tickets are £10 and available from the Civic Theatre box office on 01245 606505, or online at chelmsford.gov.uk/theatres
