A TALENTED young theatre student will star alongside Hollywood star Angelina Jolie in the new Disney film Maleficent set to be released later this month.
Isobelle Molloy, 12, from Chelmsford, was handpicked by Jolie for the role of the young Maleficent, portraying Jolie’s character in the Disney film villainess in her younger days.
The film tells the story of the Disney classic Sleeping Beauty from the point of view of its villain.
Isobelle was first spotted by Disney playing the lead role of Matilda in the West End.
Filming for Maleficent began in June 2012 at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire before being wrapped up in Hollywood.
The film is set for release on May 30.
