THE 30th anniversary of the Great Baddow Races 10 mile road race is set to take place Sunday, May 18th.
The event at the Great Baddow Recreation Ground will also feature a two mile fun run, and will raise money for a variety of local charities including YMCA Chelmsford Young Carers, Chelmsford Mind, The Children's Society, Drug and Alcohol Service and the League of Friends of Hargrave House.
Each race is limited to 1,000 runners. Those who complete the 10-mile run will receive a commemorative mug, with fun runners receiving a medal.
The entry fee before the race is £14, and £7 for the fun run. Entries can be made on the race website at www.baddowraces.org.uk.
The race begins at 11am.
