COMEDIAN Simon Evans is coming to the Civic Theatre to talk about his attempts to strike out into “the wild.”
The show, on Sunday, May 18, is a jab at the growing genre of middle class “wilderness” literature but, while he claims the best he has done is to buy a dog, Evans is actually climbing Mount Everest with five other comedians and 50 comedy fans in October.
The Stand Up on Everest trek is raising money for Save the Children and Evans aims to set a record for the world’s highest altitude gig.
