A TEMPORARY ticket office will be opened up at Chelmsford station on Sunday which will be used until the end of May.
Greater Anglia are setting up the office while refurbishment continues on site which includes a brand new ticket desk.
In addition to the makeshift office, three new ticket vending machines have also been brought into the station building to help assist passengers.
Bosses at Greater Anglia said they are grateful for the patience of passengers while the works take place.
Simi Timubu, Chelmsford area customer service manager, said: “The station improvements at Chelmsford are continuing to progress and we’re looking forward to the completion of this project which will benefit our customers so much.
“With the changes to the ticket office being introduced to facilitate the improvement works, we continue to be very grateful for the co-operation and patience of our customers throughout the duration of the project.”
