A MAN suspected of carrying out a brutal attack on a teenager in a supermarket car park is wanted by police.

Jamie Wernham, 21, whose last known address was in Southend, is believed to have chased a woman before she tripped over and he kicked her repeatedly in the head.

During the attack in the carpark of Sainsbury’s in William Hunter Way, Brentwood, at 11.10pm last Friday, the 19-year-old woman suffered a fractured cheekbone and other injuries.

Police have been trying to find Jamie Wernham since the weekend.

As well as Southend, he also has contacts in Brentwood and Chelmsford. He is white, 5ft 9in tall and of slim build.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact detectives at Loughton CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

I wonder what all that was about.

They appear to be known to each other, regardless of the provocation, you cant go around kicking women in the head *although he appears to have kicked her face (which is a big difference), its still not on.

You are inspector Frost, your detective skills are awesome the way you deduce they knew each other without any information.

Shame you cant deduce the face is located on one side of someone's head.

I don't know some of these guys who post on here manager get by day to day!

Of course they were known in some way !
The report would have said if it was unprovoked
The police released his name and details immediately after the attack , clearly suggesting that the girl (or someone with her) knew him and told the police.
& as Pembury explained people don't just chase random women across supermarket car parks and kick them in the head!

I didnt say they dont know eachother, it could have been an ex, or domestic violence of course, i just said it doesnt say that anywhere. I get so bored of every story being twisted into a conspiracy whereby the victim is to blame. Of course people attack people unprovoked, what planet are you on? It happens everyday, its the reason some people dont go out after dark.

" a conspiracy" ?

A little melodramatic.... I merely pointed out the obvious : "They appear to be known to each other"

What you on about 'liking' my own comments ? There is more than just me and you reading this! & you accuse me of "conspiracy theories" !!! Wow!

If I understand this correctly : you now concede that they most likely knew each other, your fresh grievance is I allegedly "implied she provoked it".

You see, often when assaults happen there is some manor or provocation, I said "regardless of the provocation, you cant go around kicking women in the head" We don't know she did...

You appear to live in a paranoid world where the baddies are out to get you in unprovoked attacks if you dare venture out onto the mean streets of S End :

OK! Just so I've got this, you now concede that :
a) They knew each other, &
b) I was not justifying his attack
BUT
Your grievance is now that I like my own comments ?
