CELEBRITY mug shots, fingerprint taking and video making will all be part of a art course at the Essex Police Museum over Easter.

Children aged between seven and 12 can take part in the course which runs over six days starting on Monday April 7 and ending on Thursday April 17 at the museum in Essex Police's headquarters in Kingston Crescent.

During the course, pupils will be taught to do artist impressions using pictures of celebrities, experiment with fingerprints and even get a glimpse of the force's digital media team at work.

Each child who completes all six days will receive a Arts Award Explore qualification and also get the chance to be part of a murder re-enactment.

The course costs £30 to take part in and run each day from 10.30am to 2pm.
