THE HEADTEACHER of a school in Chelmsford has announced he will leave his job at the end of the academic year.
Tom Sherrington is taking over the top post at the Highbury Grove School in Islington in September after spending six years at King Edward VI Grammar School.
A statement from the school said: "KEGS management governors are most disappointed to be losing Mr Sherrington and wish him every success in his new school.
"Arrangements are being put in place to appoint his successor."
