A CHARITY who provide specially trained dogs to assist disabled people collected £698.85 during a day at the High Chelmer Shopping Centre.
Volunteers from Canine Partners gathered the cash from shoppers in Chelmsford city centre.
Lindsay Hurrell, a community fundraiser for the charity, said everyone at the charity was pleased with the amount shoppers donated.
She said: "We are delighted to have raised this fantastic amount of money which will help us continue our work in Essex.
"A special thanks goes to High Chelmer Shopping Centre for giving us the opportunity to be there and to meet shoppers."
