A SERIES of monthly talks will be held at the Essex Police Museum in Springfield discussing all things crime.

Starting on Thursday March 6, the talks at the venue which is based inside Essex Police's HQ in Kingston Crescent will look at a number of different subjects.

The first evening will see authors Linda Rhodes and Kathy Abnett discussing the story of the murder of Pc George Clark.

This will be followed during the year with topics including the famous Essex-born Highwayman Dick Turpin and retired officer Steve Wynn talking about his experiences with the force.

Tickets for each night cost £3 and include light refreshments.
