PEOPLE are being to keep an eye out for a watch worth £900 described as "distinctive" which was stolen from a house in Galleywood.
At some point between 11.30am and 6pm on Saturday February 15, crooks broke into the property in Attwoods Close and took a Oris TT1 diver’s watch and £40 cash.
The incident happened while the owner was in the garden and officers investigating the case believe the thieves may go round offer the watch to sell.
Anyone who recognises the watch or thinks they have been offered it for sale should contact Dc Eva Verlander at Chelmsford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
