A HEADTEACHER will be switching primary schools in Chelmsford when the 2014/15 academic year starts.

In September Marie Staley will take over as head at Moulsham Junior School in September leaving her post at Trinity Road Primary School in Springfield which she has held since 2009.

A statement was released by the school on Friday informed parents of the news.

Mrs Staley said: “I had not been actively looking for a new position but the challenge of this very large junior school came to my attention at the start of the school year.

“At the moment I have very mixed emotions as Trinity Road is a wonderful community in which to work.

“It is a school that will remain deep in my heart as my first Headship working alongside a great team, supportive families and dedicated governors.”

The process to find Mrs Staley’s replacement at Trinity Road has begun.
