New Hall School's quiz team
A QUIZ team made up of pupils from a school in Boreham finished in top ten nationally during a competition.
Jonjo McMahon and Jacob O’Ceallaigh, both in Year 8, teamed up with fwllow New Hall School pupils Aidan Turner-Wallace and Justin Ross, both in Year 7, for the National Quiz Club Championship final at Harrow School.
Although the quartet did not win, headteacher Katherine Jeffrey said the whole school were proud of their achievement.
Mrs Jeffrey said: "Everyone was impressed by their extraordinary general knowledge and the way in which they kept their cool under pressure."
