FORMER Liverpool and Ipswich Town footballer John Wark will be cutting the ribbon at a doughnut store coming to Chelmsford.

The midfielder who won several trophies during his career is opening the Dunkin' Donuts shop in Moulsham Street on Friday February 14.

With the day being the most romantic of the year, love themed sweet treats will be given out to customers at the store which will be the first opened by the US-based firm outside of London.

As an extra celebration, 100 shoppers will win free coffee and doughnuts for a year during the store opening.
