ONE of the stars of Essex-based sitcom Birds of a Feather met drama students in Chelmsford on Saturday.

Charlie Quirke who plays Travis in the ITV show visited the Pauline Quirke Academy group in Chelmer Valley High School to talk with them about acting.

He gave the pupils some tips ahead of their appearance in the West End when they perform in Fright Night at Her Majesty’s Theatre in July.

The TV star who is the real life son of Pauline was once an student at the academy himself.

Stephen Hawke Principal of PQA Chelmsford said "It was a pleasure to have Charlie at the academy on Saturday, the students were so excited to see him and he even gave them some tips on their upcoming show on the West End stage."
