FIREFIGHTERS cut three people free from the wreckage of their vehicles following a crash in Boreham.

Crews were called to the two vehicle collision at the junction of Drakes Lane and Boreham Road, Boreham at around 1pm on Sunday.

The collision left three people trapped - two in the first car and one in the second.

Using one set of cutting equipment, crews had released the two casualties from the second car by 1.51pm. The other casualty had been released by 2.20pm.

All three casualties were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
