School quiz team set to appear in national final
A QUIZ team made up of New Hall School pupils will be competing for a national title on Friday.
Jonjo McMahon and Jacob O’Ceallaigh, both in Year 8, are joining forces with Year 7 students Aidan Turner-Wallace and Justin Ross for the National Quiz Club Championship at Harrow School in London.
Questions in the final will be on general knowledge with headteacher Katherine Jeffrey saying the boys are looking forward to the day.
Mrs Jeffrey said: "Our students are not in the least bit daunted by the task and we have every hope they will return having had a fully enriching experience."
