RUNNERS will be coming to Chelmsford on October 19 as the city host's a full marathon for the first time.
Great Baddow-based charity J's Hospice has set up the 26.2mile event around the streets and parks of the city.
Starting in Central Park the route will take participants round some of the other parks in Chelmsford before through Writtle and into Hylands.
The race will raise money for the hospice which provides care for 16 to 40-year-olds with life limiting and threatening conditions.
Registration opens on February 25 with entry costing £28 per runner.
