POLICE found child pornography when they raided a house in Chelmsford.
A court heard on Friday how 200 indecent images of children were found on computer equipment at Anthony Welch's home on April 9 last year.
Most of the images involved children aged between six and 14 and were at the lower end of the serious scale, Chelmsford Crown Court was told.
Welch, 59, Linnet Drive, Chelmsford, admitted two charges of making indecent images of children when he appeared in court for sentence.
Judge Christopher Ball QC said the best way to punish him was a three year community order with a condition Welch goes on an internet sex offenders' course.
