CHELMSFORD MP Simon Burns visited a shop in his constituency which started after getting a Government backed loan.
Get Customised which customises items including mugs and shirts opened it's doors in Viaduct Road, Chelmsford, after owner Jennifer Davies received money through the Start Up Loan Company.
The firm which is Government funded and chaired by former Dragon's Den star James Caan offers loans to budding entrepreneurs to get started in business.
During his visit, Mr Burns was given a customised mug by Miss Davies, 29.
Mr Burns said: "Jennifer has set up a really innovative business and I wish her all the best for the future.
"I am sure that the business will continue to develop and be supported by the people of Chelmsford.
"The mug which she had customised specially for my visit now sits proudly on my desk in the House of Commons."
