COMMUTERS had their journeys disrupted from Chelmsford train station after a signal failure this morning.
Network Rail engineers were called out at about 8.50am when the fault was detected at the station on the Greater Anglia line.
Services were to and from London were either delayed or cancelled while repairs were carried out.
The signal was fixed at about 9.25am but delays are expected until 12noon.
A Greater Anglia spokeswoman said: ""We worked with Network Rail to restore the normal service as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused."
