CHELMSFORD MP Simon Burns visited a local McDonald’s to find out about staff work and train.
The Conservative was shown around the fast food joint in the Riverside Industrial Estate by franchisee Ahmet Mustafa.
While there Mr Burns was told about foundation degree and apprencticeship courses run by the company.
He also got to see behind the scenes how the burgers and fries are prepared and what work is done by restaurant staff in the community.
Mr Burns said: “It was a great pleasure to meet Ahmet and his team and get to know more about how the business operates.
“I was particularly pleased to hear about the number of local employees who are benefitting from the different training schemes available at McDonalds.”
