WITNESSES of a ten man brawl in Chelmsford on Christmas Day are being sought by police.
Officers were called to Melbourne Avenue, on the Melbourne estate, at about 8pm after reports of a large fight in the street near the junction of Parkside Court.
Three men in their 20s and all from north London were hospitalised after the incident with one have serious head injuries and another with puncture wounds to his chest.
Police investigating the case are now appealing for witnesses to come forward having already arrested three men in connection with the fight.
A 27-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, a 34-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested on suspicion of affray and a 34-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, affray, having an offensive weapon and criminal damage.
