WRESTLERS will be slamming each other down in Chelmsford on January 18 in aid of charity.

A night of live action has been organised by the Charity Wrestling Alliance who are bringing a show to the Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre in Victoria Road.

Money from the evening will be donated to the British Heart Foundation with the show being called The Battle For British Hearts.

Topping the bill is the bout featuring Lazer Lagden the current CWA World Champion who will step toe-to-toe with Jonny Storm on the canvass.

Tag team action is also on the cards with match-ups between The Flying Scotsmen and The Insaniacs plus a fight pitting Muscles Mansfield and Honest Ernest Sterling against The Cornells.

An all-female three-way bout will also hit the ring with women wrestlers Bacardi, Jezabeth and Rebel Yell fighting each other.

Several one-on-one matches will also feature on the bill with Brad Beck facing off against Nemesis while Morocco Panthrax faces Dow Jones.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £7 for children and concessions with the actions kicking off at 7pm.
