AN EX-PROFESSIONAL footballer has launched his own fitness company in Chelmsford.
Oliver Berquez, who played for Dagenham & Redbridge, Canvey Island and Chelmsford City, has set up Blitz Fit Me.
Classes are being held in Broomfield Village Hall and Moulsham High School offering fitness activities and diet programmes to help with weight loss and keeping healthy.
Mr Berquez said each customer will have an indiviual plan when they sign up for sessions, adding he was motivated to start the business as he wanted to help people to get fit.
He said: “The key to optimal health is combining exercise with nutrition. Combine the two effectively and you're on your way to long term health.
“I wanted to create a complete 360 programme that offers the right training, the right nutrition, the food we eat, and the right support to really help people achieve their goals.
“For me, it's important people see their progress to keep motived and through a unique fitness testing system which is completed every eight-weeks will enable this.”
