A COMPANY who admitted being responsible for the death of a builder at Broomfield Hospital will have to wait two extra months for their sentence.

Bouygues UK were due to be sentenced yesterday on a charge brought by the Health and Safety Executive in connection with the death of Portuguese national Guilherme de Oliveira dating back to November 10, 2008.

However, the hearing which is set to take place for two days has been moved back to February 25 and 26.

Mr de Oliveira was crushed to death by a beam suspended on a crane at the hospital when a gust of wind blew the structure around, breaking his spine.
