£360 raised by pub bosses in Santa run
PUB managers from Hatfield Peverel dressed as Father Christmas to raise £360 for Colchester Radiotherapy Unit.
Sarah Phillips and Karen Packford, manager and assistant manager of the Duke of Wellington, completed the Santa Fun Run at Castle Park in Colchester.
The pair decided to raise money for the unit at Colchester Hospital after Karen’s mum was treated for breast cancer there.
Afterwards, Sarah said: “We are so pleased with the amount of money we raised and we had great fun taking part.”
