Court appearance for man accused of kidnapping boy
A 21-YEAR-OLD male appeared in court this morning after being arrested on suspicion of kidnapping.
Daniel Duke, of Mendip Place, Chelmsford, only spoke to confirm his personal details during the brief hearing at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court.
He was arrested on Monday following an incident in Mendip Place where a 12-year-old boy was grabbed off his bicycle and dragged to a car.
Duke is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on February 17.
