COUNCIL bosses are informing Christmas shoppers in Chelmsford a car park is open despite building work.
Refurbishments are being carried out at the Meadows multi-storey behind the Iceland supermarket in Springfield Road with fencing erected around the building.
However Chelmsford Council has assured shoppers the car park is still open for use over the festive period.
A spokeswoman said: "As planned refurbishment works continue to the Meadows Retail car park, we would like to inform residents and visitors to the city that the car park is open and ready to take Christmas shoppers."
