TWO men have been arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Great Baddow.

Police arrested 35-year-old Richard Frost from Chelmsford and a 22-year-old male from Thurrock both on suspicion of attempted murder.

The search continues for Frost's partner Kay Phillips, 26, and five-month-old son.

At about 10.15pm on November 21, a 17-year-old was run over after a BMW mounted the pavement in Dorset Avenue before being repeatedly stabbed.

The victim remains in a critical condition in hospital.

On Friday detectives issued an appeal asking for Frost and Miss Phillips to contact police.

They wanted to speak with Frost in connection with the incident and were concerned about Miss Phillips and their child's welfare.

An fresh appeal has been issued by police asking for Miss Phillips to contact them or help from anyone who knows of her whereabouts.

She is described as white, approximately 5ft 4in tall and has shoulder-length or long blonde hair.

Anyone with information regarding Miss Phillips or their baby is urged to call 999.

Information is also still being sought regarding the attempted murder with witnesses urged to contact detectives in the incident room at Brentwood on 101.
