OFFICERS investigating an attempted murder case have renewed their appeal for witnesses.

On November 21 a 17-year-old boy was run over by a dark-coloured BMW before being stabbed in Dorset Avenue, Great Baddow, at about 10.15pm.

A BMW X5 was found burned out in Rettendon at about 9pm the following day which linking it to the incident.

Plenty of information has already been passed on by members of the public, but police looking into the matter are hopeful more can be brought up.

DCI Mark Hall, of Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: "I am grateful to those who have contacted us so far.

"I have gleaned a wealth of information from these people which has enabled me to progress this investigation at some speed.

"However, I continue to ask others to come forward as I look to arrest those responsible for this attempted murder.
