7:20am Friday 25th October 2013 in News
RESIDENTS will be allowed to live in their mobile homes in part of a caravan park all year round.
A proposal to permit people in Hayes Leisure Park, Battlesbridge, stay permanently were agreed by Chelmsford Council’s planning committee.
Previously residents were not allowed to occupy the homes in January and February due to the conditions of a planning application dating back to 2001 relating to green belt policies.
Around 50 residents packed into the Council Chamber and applauded when the application was approved.
