Have Plastic got the X Factor?

MEET one of this year’s X Factor contestants who looks set to follow in the footsteps of Rylan Clark after his group was named as a favourite of Nicole Scherzinger.
With his purple hair, outgoing fashion style and confident personality Sam Morris, 22, looks set to be a regular on the show as part of the group Plastic.
The the former Rainsford High School pupil has been part of the trio since 2011 and they already have a group of followers dubbed the Fantastics.
Along with Tom Davis of Surrey and Lulu Smith of Great Yarmouth, Sam auditioned for the show earlier this year and is reportedly set to be the memorable act that divides viewers.
Sam, who was limited as to how much he could say before the show, said: “Nicole is a big fan.
“I guess we do fall under Rylan’s category but I feel we are a bit different.
“We are very colourful and very different. There’s never really been a band like us on the X Factor before.
“We just try to be as unique as possible.”
His family, including mum Bonita, dad Mark and sisters Liberty, Carita and Melody, have long supported Sam, who regularly appeared in West End shows such as Oliver and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as he was growing up.
More recently Sam, a professionally-trained dancer, featured in the Olly Murs’ video for Dance With Me Tonight.
